Travel Awards for the Molecular Psychiatry Meeting
We have two types of travel awards: (1) one for graduate or medical students who are currently enrolled in PhD, MD, or MD/PhD programs and (2) for postdoctoral fellows/junior faculty.
For the postdoc/junior faculty level award, applicants must be no more than 6 years from degree, or 6-years post residency. Applicants may have a career development award (K-type) but not yet a R-level grant.
Please send your CV or NIH biosketch, 2 letters of recommendation, and a brief cover letter explaining why this travel award would be beneficial for you (e.g, you would not otherwise have the funds to attend the meeting). Preference will be given to those presenting at the meeting either at a session talk or a poster.
The deadline for receipt of applications is August 1st. Only young investigators receiving the awards will be notified by August 30th. Awards for both types are for $2,000. Part of the monies must be used to register for the meeting. Approximately 15 awards will be made.
