The Molecular Psychiatry Association (MPA) was founded in 2013 to promote research and communication of research findings across varying approaches (e.g. neurobiology, genetics, systems biology, novel drug development) to obtain a better understanding of the molecular basis of psychiatric disorders. The annual Molecular Psychiatry meeting is open to all professionals in the field, and has become known for stellar scientific talks by top researchers in the field. By bringing together investigators using varied molecular approaches, the meeting provides an excellent opportunity for cross-fertilization and collaboration.
The 2019 meeting was particularly successful, due in part to the support given through corporate support from companies in the field. We expect to achieve the same success in 2022, with another stellar scientific program consisting of two plenary talks, 18 oral symposia sessions, and a poster session and poster talks by young investigators.
