Travel Awards for the Molecular Psychiatry Meeting
We have two types of travel awards: (1) one for graduate or medical students who are currently enrolled in PhD, MD, or MD/PhD programs and (2) for postdoctoral fellows/medical residents/junior faculty.
For the postdoc/resident/junior faculty level award, applicants must be within 5 years of completing postdoctoral or residency training. Applicants may have a career development award (K-type) but not yet a R-level grant.
Please send your CV or NIH biosketch, a half-page career statement and explanation of why this travel award would be beneficial for you, and one letter of recommendation that also confirms your eligibility (for graduate/medical student award, currently enrolled in PhD, MD, or MD/PhD program; for postdoc/resident/junior faculty award, currently a postdoctoral fellow or resident, or within 5 years of completing training). Preference will be given to those presenting a symposium talk or poster at the meeting.
The deadline for receipt of applications is August 01, 2019. Only young investigators receiving the awards will be notified by August 30, 2019. Awards for both types are for $1,500. Part of the monies must be used to register for the meeting. Approximately 15 awards will be made.
